Holiday Breaks

The Towers' Friendship Centre

"It's an opportunity for people to relax in good company"
Emmet Kennelly, a long-standing member of the SVP in Co Kerry

The Centre built in 2000, in Sandhill Road, has accommodation for 35 persons during the months of May to October. All bedrooms are en-suite.  The prices are kept at a very reasonable rate and so gives people on low incomes the chance of a holiday. Most of the people who come to the centre come through SVP Conferences in the Limerick and Kerry area.

Visitors can enjoy going to the beach, and entertainment and parties are provided during their six-day stay but most of all it's an opportunity for people to relax and 'get away from it all', but to have company as well.

During the winter months the building is leased to a local community project providing day-care services for the elderly and it also hosts SVP seminars and Conferences to make the most use of this lovely building in a beautiful part of the country.
