Social Housing Projects

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is one of the largest providers of Voluntary Housing in Ireland, providing over 900 units of housing nationally.   SVP housing has been supported by the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government, private donations and bequests.

Housing has been developed throughout Ireland by local SVP conferences in response to the identified needs of their local community, and continues to be administered, managed and supported locally with the support of SVP Regional and National Office.

Here is an example of a SVP social housing project.

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a Member of the Irish Council for Social Housing.  Housing is provided in the following communities.  For further details contact the appropriate Regional office.
