Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
If you wish to volunteer with a Conference (a local group) or with one of our specialist services (e.g. hospital visiting, shops etc.) please note the following:
In order to apply to join the St Vincent de Paul Society you need to complete the following:
- Application form
- Garda Vetting form (Please note Garda Vetting Form MUST be printed back-to-back on one sheet)
- Photocopy of Current passport or driving licence signed by SVP volunteer or a member of our staff
Before posting your forms please review the checklist to ensure all the necessary documentation is included.
When completing any of the above documentation please carefully follow the illustrated Sample Forms.
Please place all 3 items in an envelope and return back to our office at Stephen Mews, Stephen Street, Sligo. Please do not go to a garda station with the garda vetting form.
The safety and welfare of children and vulnerable adults is a priority for the Society, therefore we require all applicants to go through our application process.
