Dublin Bus collected 914 toys last week and brought them into SVP House. The organizer was Gabriel O’Neill and he and his colleagues organized this magnificent event with very little notice and still has some toys and cash (vouchers) left to drop in.
The 2FM radio appeal “Toys for All” is doing well in the Dublin Region. The majority of toys donated to the local SuperValu shops will be taken and distributed locally by the local SVP Conferences.
Some of the SuperValu shops have their donated toys collected and brought to SVP House. So far, we have counted over 300 toys in SVP House from 6 shops.
We are asking people who wish to donate a gift to remember our teenagers. We normally get a huge number of toys for younger children and relatively few for teens. They are a difficult group to buy for, but gift tokens and vouchers are always very acceptable
