On Tuesday 22nd Nov. Dublin Bus workers under the direction of bus driver Gabriel O’Neill, organized a bus to collect toys at the blue car park of Blanchardstown shopping centre.
This was part of the 2fm Toys for All appeal, but as Blanchardstown doesn’t have a SuperValu shop, Gabriel and his colleagues from Dublin Bus improvised with their specially decorated double decker bus. Nearly 1,000 toys were donated on the day.
Gabriel had to ask for help, as the bus was getting full, so Bargintown came to the rescue and send a man(Joe) and a van to help. A great days work by the lads from the Harristown bus depot!
