A personal message from Emma Olohan

Hi Everyone,

Can i have 30secs on your watch and not a second more.....

This year I took up running a lot more seriously than previous years of no training and just about finishing over that line. This year I took up getting out there training, and running regularly. You will be delighted I am not talking, so that gives you all lot's of peace and quiet for a while until I get back to the phone :)..

In addition I'm running for health, and to be honest to keep a glimpse of hope, thats why i am being a brat and asking you to stretch into your pocket and donate me some euro's please.

There will be a day when we all reach a crisis point, when we can't make ends meet, something unexpected has turned our lives upside down, we don't know where we might live let alone survive, we will see a terrible sad moment of poverty or cruelty...we will experience one of these if we're not lucky enough to escape them all. So don't hold back..I'm out there doing the small events, the 5k,10k's on the way to the Flora with the determination of knowing we are doing something good - I'd ask you to support by donating here. I have seen the work done by SVP and know every penny goes straight to those who need it. In Gerry Maguire's words...help me to help you.
