Employees at all Abbott sites recently took part in the Clothing appeal for St Vincent de Paul. Each year SVP asks people all around  Ireland to donate unwanted clothes which will then be sold in the SVP stores nationwide. Abbott employees from Dublin, Longford, Clonmel, Sligo, Cavan and Donegal took part in the initiative, Pictured at the launch of the charity project are Katharine Jensen, CSR Manager Abbott and Mairead Bushnell, National President, St Vincent de Paul.

"We thank all of the Abbott staff who took part in the clothing appeal.  The Society of St. Vincent de Paul spends about €1million per week on assistance to those most  in need in Irish society. The support for our shops as demonstrated by this Abbott initiative is vital to this work", said Mairead Bushnell.
