The Dublin Regional Council of the Society of St.Vincent de Paul is developing plans for a social housing project at Kilcoole.
This project is at an early stage, but is part of the Society’s concern to deal with homelessness. The Region is also looking at the possible development of other sites and houses for the purpose.
The Dublin Regional President, Rose McGowan, has said that the Region will undertake a review of waiting lists for social housing units.
A seminar about social housing is also being considered.
