‘From The Ground Up’ and our liaison with SVP Members

‘From the Ground-Up’ information is used by the Society as its first port of call in ascertaining the policy concerns of our members.  When an issue is identified as being of wide or topical concern we either make follow-up calls to the SVP member in question or seek further information from other FTGU contacts.  FTGU information is also of significant benefit to the Society when we are asked to respond to issues arising in the media.  FTGU information has been used by the SVP in the following fora:

• Submissions, including Pre-Budget
• Meeting Politicians
• Media and Communications
• Liaison with Civil and Public Servants including Social Partnership
• Meeting Energy & similar utility providers
