My Personal Message

Maria-

I am a part-time volunteer for SVP in Malahide. As this year's Dublin Rose I chose to formally work with SVP to raise funds for the charity, and in September was asked to participate in Ozanam Come Dancing. I am so excited to be involved as first of all Ozanam House do such amazing work for the youth in the community, but also as I am a former Irish dancer and dancing is my passion. I cannot wait to get stuck into the practice sessions and hopefully raise some much needed funds for Ozanam House's summer programme.

Derek-

I used to be a teacher but went back to study for a couple of years to transition into finance. And into dance! Not really, I usually keep the dancing for the tail end of a night out but the gang in the office have strong powers of persuasion! Now that I'm here, I'm certainly concerned about ruining the show, and dance as we know, it but I'll give it my best and am really happy to help out a brilliant community centre like Ozanam House with fundraising.

Ozanam Come Dancing 2018

Date: 09 March 2018

Ozanam Come Dancing is the BIG annual fundraiser in aid of Ozanam House Resource Centre, a community centre operated by SVP in Dublin 1. This year, 12 couples have volunteered to take on the challenge. The show will take place on Friday 9th March at 7.30pm in Liberty Hall, Dublin 1 and will be hosted by television presenter and fashion designer, Brendan Courtney . Brendan will be assisted by our celebrity judges Mary Black and Katherine Lynch. This year, with your help, we will engage 280 children and young people in June, July and August on our summer projects giving them a memorable experience in a safe, nurturing, yet fun filled environment. Please support our volunteer dancers involved our BIG annual fundraiser, Ozanam Come Dancing.
