    The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Christian voluntary organisation committed to offering support and friendship, promoting self- sufficiency and working for social justice.

    The East Region wish to recruit for the following position:

    To be based in Ozanam House Community Resource Centre, Mountjoy Square West, Dublin 1.

    The successful candidate will be a support childcare worker in all 3 pre-school classrooms and will assist in the implementation of all aspects of our childcare pre-school programme contributing to the children’s development socially, emotionally and intellectually.

    Applicants should possess the following:

    •  A relevant third level qualification in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education - a minimum QQI Level 6 or relevant equivalent is required,
    • At least 2 years of experience working directly with pre-school children,  
    • Good experience in this area with lots of initiative and enthusiasm,
    • Excellent organisational and communication skills,
    • A good team player, 
    • An interest in supporting and empowering young children and their families.

    This position is Part-time (25hrs per week) & Permanent.
