East Mayo Area Appeal 2023

The summary

Unfortunately poverty is still a big problem in Ireland today. For many families it only takes one extra “problem” to tip the balance, it could be an illness, NCT failure, school trip, an appliance e.g. cooker, stops working. A little help at the right time can stop a domino effect leading to a family experiencing prolonged hardship. Volunteers in St. Vincent DePaul know how difficult it is for someone who is struggling to continue to cope with that extra burden. We are here to help.

As you are reading this you probably already support us in our work. Without your help we simply would not be able to continue the work of St.Vincent DePaul in our area and we are very grateful for all your donations. The East Mayo Area Council covers an area from Bohola in Co. Mayo to Ballaghadarreen in Co. Roscommon and everywhere in between. There are four Conferences in this Area and the Area Council assists all of them as needed and also supports some families and individuals who for various reasons come directly to the Area Council
