Thank you for your continued support of SVP. Requests for assistance in our Area are often far removed from a food voucher. The lack of affordable housing, health care, child counselling, public transport and much more means that working families are often toppled over by one unplanned emergency.
An illness, an issue with the car they need for transport to work and school, their ancient gas cooker or boiler finally gives up. SVP tries to help with such emergencies. Every request is assessed so that every donated Euro is distributed within our Area. Our volunteers are very conscious that the funds we have come from our community and will be distributed in our community.
This winter, which of course includes the Christmas Season, please consider a small donation. East Mayo Area covers the villages of Bohola/Kiltimagh/Swinford/Charlestown/Ballaghadareen and the surrounding areas.Thank you and God bless.
