Holy Name Ranelagh Appeal 2023

The summary

The Holy Name Conference Ranelagh assists a wide range of needy people in Ranelagh Parish area. In the middle of what is a prosperous part of Dublin our Parish thare are those who are suffering and in desperate need due to financial hardship. Recently housed homeless struggle to pay basic utility bills and rent a room in overcrowded houses. Single parent families can’t make ends meet and quickly fall into debt. There are many retired people in the area struggling to get by on the State pension and often must go without necessities. With barely enough money to pay for the basics like food and clothing, heating their homes is a luxury they can’t always afford. Continued high energy bills have meant some of them simply don’t turn on their heating for much of the week. Despite their extreme budgeting often there is nothing left to cover medical bills or one-off emergency costs and proud private people are forced to turn to us for help. We are one of their last lines of defence and it is essential we have the funds to help them. We depend solely on your donations to do this and we are very grateful for any donation large or small.

Our Christmas annual appeal is our main source of income, but we accept donations at any time of the year. We are appealing to as many people in Ranelagh to donate online using the link below. Every Euro you donate will put it to very good use helping those most needy in Ranelagh.
