My Personal Message
Over the past 3 years, our family has experienced some tough times as a result of family accidents and illness, with some of these challenges still with us. We worked our way through these challenges with amazing support and kindness from people around us. It is in these times that you see how amazing some people are. With this support, we came out the other side of these challenges (the toughest bits so far anyway) ready to get going again. Then, in 2020, both Brexit and Covid-19 came. We were expecting the tough times to start all over again. Fortunately, they didn't and 2020/21 have not affected us too badly, though we do not emerge unscathed.
However, we look around us and see that both Covid-19 and Brexit have affected so many people in so many ways. We see people losing their jobs, their income and struggling to pay their bills and feed their families. We feel that it is now time for us to stand up and pay forward some of the kindnesses we have received. We have made donations to SVP, and other charities, to help with these issues but also feel we can do more. So, as an Organisational Psychologist, I am going to donate my time and deliver a Leadership Development session every month to help people continue to develop and grow during these tough times.
If you would like to attend one of these sessions, all you need to do is make a donation by clicking on the link here. There is no set amount - just make the donation you can afford for each session you want to attend.
Businesses are welcome to make a donation and have an employee(s) attend. All leadership development sessions will be 2 hours long (7pm - 9pm) and be a full, interactive and enjoyable on-line training experience.
Participants will be fully involved in learning, breakout groups, feedback and activities using a range of technology features. The full 2 hours is dedicated to participant learning and enjoyment.
All funds will go directly to SVP to help people struggling financially in these tough times. The leadership sessions throughout 2021, are as follows:
