My Personal Message

Each year at this time at our Annual Appeal, we would normally speak to you from the altar to make our annual appeal for your assistance, asking you to join with us, by your financial help, in the work we do. However, this vital fundraiser will not be taking place in its usual form this year, and will therefore greatly affect our ability to provide assistance to all those who seek our support. Requests for our assistance have increased significantly since March, ranging from assistance with food, education, household bills and heating, with many new families coming to us, who would normally never have had the need to approach us before, were it not for the extraordinary times in which we are currently. Your local conference covers the area from Delgany to Kilcoole to Newcastle, and from Newtownmountkennedy to Roundwood. Providing that lifeline over this large area requires us to spend around €70,000 each year, money donated principally by you in your generosity. But we know that a little help at the right time can stop a domino effect leading to a family experiencing prolonged hardship. Many of you regularly support our work. Without this help, we simply would not be able to support those struggling. This Christmas please support the St. Patrick's Conference Annual Appeal.
