    The East Region of the Society operates a chain of Vincent’s charity shops across Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.  The purpose of the Area Manager role is to develop and lead a team of approximately 25 Shop Managers within the East Region.  To maximise sales, productivity, revenue opportunities and customer satisfaction levels through the efficient management of the Vincent’s shops by ensuring compliance within the SVP retail standards, current relevant legislation and SVP policy and ethos.
    The ideal candidate will possess the following;

    • Job Holder should hold relevant academic experience, with a strong retail background and a proven track record in the management of a large voluntary and/or staff team
    • Experience of management in the community / voluntary sector desirable
    • Multi-site experience is essential.
    • Full P+L accountability for multi-million euro budgets
    • Extensive volunteer and/or staff management experience
    • Proven track record in retail management for at least 3 years
    • Proven track record of reaching sales targets
    • Persuasive communication skills – ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences
    • An ability to quickly establish and maintain working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and manage on going working relationships and work plans
    • Project Management skills
    • Excellent problem solving skills in interpersonal situations both internal and external to the organisation
    • Mentoring, coaching and training skills
    • Full clean driving licence and to have a car which can be used for work.
