    The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a Christian voluntary organisation committed to offering support, friendship, promoting self-sufficiency and working for social justice.
    The Sunshine Fund requires a kitchen supervisor for the 2020 season. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for managing the Kitchen of Sunshine House to ensure that the kitchen team works effectively to prepare and serve meals on time and that the kitchen adheres to the HAACP standards.
    Applications are invited from those who will be available for work during the months of May, June, July and August 2020.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

    • HAACP certs or courses completed an advantage but not essential.
    • Understanding all key standards related to food, service and cleanliness
    • Has a clear understanding of the SVP, it’s ethos and values
    • Understanding of staff/volunteer dynamic
    • Previous experience in working in a kitchen environment
    • Previous experience in managing/supervising a team
    • Strong Leadership qualities
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • A real passion for building relationships with employees
    • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Attention to detail
    • Enthusiastic, flexible and energetic person
