Social Policy Development Officer
Caroline Fahey is Social Policy Development Officer with the Society of St Vincent de Paul and has worked with the organisation for more than six years.
Caroline works on a broad range of social policy issues, with a particular focus on poverty and social exclusion, social welfare, lone parents and migration. She is one of the four representatives of the Community and Voluntary Pillar on the National Economic and Social Council (NESC), a body which advises the Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) on strategic issues for Ireland’s social and economic development.
Caroline is also a volunteer with an SVP visitation conference in Dublin. Prior to joining the SVP, Caroline worked with Jesuit Refugee Service Ireland and in the Children’s Research Centre, Trinity College.
