Towers Friendship Centrem, built in 2000 is situated in Sandhill Road, Ballybunion overlooking Ballybunion’s world famous Golf Course.
The Centre caters for 36 people in twin and triple bed rooms (all single beds and on suite).
Groups arrive every Saturday afternoon during the summer (May to October) and they return home the following Friday after breakfast.
The prices are kept at a very reasonable rate and so gives people on low incomes the chance of a holiday. Most of the people who come to the centre come through SVP Conferences in the Limerick and Kerry area.
Visitors can enjoy going to the beach, and entertainment and parties are provided during their six-day stay but most of all it's an opportunity for people to relax and 'get away from it all', but to have company as well.
Breakfast 9 am, Mid-morning tea 11am, Lunch 1pm, Evening meal 5.30 and a cuppa again at 7.30.
Games of Bingo are arranged in house as required.
Monday night is sing-song night and Wednesday night is Party night with Music by Stevie Donegan—so have your party pieces ready.
Hairdressing by appointment in house on Wednesday mornings before lunch and we have dance-to-music in the Hall. Sunday morning we have mass in the house.
Free bus to 10am mass on Mon to Thurs and free bus to Ballybunion’s beautiful beach (weather permitting).
During the winter months the building is leased to a local community project providing day-care services for the elderly and it also hosts SVP seminars and Conferences to make the most use of this lovely building in a beautiful part of the country.
