SVP currently help people throughout Ireland who are struggling to provide food, heat and clothing for themselves and their families.

Ways you can help

The Society of St Vincent de Paul helps thousands of families and individuals each year in Ireland. However, we cannot do this without your support be it through volunteering, donating online, or donating to our charity shops.

  • SVP provides many volunteer opportunities from visiting people in their homes by joining one our visitation conferences (local branches of SVP), to volunteering at one our second-hand Vincent’s Charity shops located around Ireland.
  • One SVP Volunteer had to say this about their volunteering experience with our charity; “A hugely important part of my life, a wonderful way to live out my faith in a practical sense and help my community.”
  • Our charity offers several ways to donate such as making single donation, regular (monthly) donations, etc. You can also donate second hand items to your local SVP charity shop.
  • You can also get involved with SVP by creating your own fundraiser. However you choose to get involved with our charity, your help is invaluable in making all the difference to the lives of people in your community.
