The Role:
We are currently looking to recruit a IT Graduate (12month Fixed term; 37.5 hours per week) to join our Shared Services - IT team in SVP House, Dublin 1. The purpose of the job is to provide support to IT Microsoft Office platforms and CRM/Agresso Technical support via the IT Helpdesk as well as working with the IT Team on technical issue resolution. The post holder will support roll-out of conference emails to the volunteer userbase of the Society, assist on IT Helpdesk support, and get involved in the transition from in-house data storage server to Cloud based Office 365 SharePoint.
In addition, SVP will afford the post holder the opportunity to participate in a major project whilst getting ‘on the job’ experience supporting multiple platforms and applications for a user base of 1,000+ users. SVP’s strategic platforms are CRM for Membership & Membership related processes, Agresso for finance and Microsoft Office 365. SVP maintain a comprehensive web site that integrates with CRM. Disaster recovery is a key component of IT department deliverables.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required
Qualifications
• Recent graduate (within last 2 years) with a BSc Computer Science or equivalent qualification from an Accredited Institution is essential.
Experience
• Previous work experience (paid or voluntary).
• Team working experience.
• Experience working with MS Office tools and/or applications.
Knowledge
• Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values.
• Knowledge of needs and issues of the poor and disadvantaged.
Skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good logical ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to document events and processes.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
