Woman Loveheart with HandsLooking to volunteer with a charity?

Then why not consider volunteering with SVP? The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is always looking for people to get involved and become volunteers. You can become a shop volunteer, a volunteer visiting families, the opportunites are huge.

We are located throughout Ireland and if you are interested in volunteering with us you can contact one of our regional offices located in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Donegal, Belfast, Louth, Dublin or Waterford.

SVP gives you an opportunity to make all the difference in someone’s life.

We are always looking for volunteers.

Our 11,000 volunteers from across Ireland are people from all walks of life who are helping to change the lives of people in need.

Whether you have a few hours to spare or would like to make a more long-term commitment, there are lots of ways you can get involved and help change someone’s life.

  • Visit people at home, in hospitals and in prisons.
  • Provide practical support and information to people who contact us.
  • Support our range of specialist services such as: hostels for people who are out of home; day care services for older people; resource centres; and holiday centres
  • Volunteer at one of our large networks of Vincent's charity shops.
  • Work with schools and third level colleges to bring awareness of the work of SVP, and the value of volunteering to young people.
