Newbridge Day Care Centre
About us

Newbridge Day Care Centre is located in the heart of Newbridge town on Station Road. The centre opened its doors on the 6th May 1991. It provides a range of daycare services and a warm welcoming environment to all our service users who at present are local to Newbridge and Kilcullen.

We strive to promote preferences, pastimes, and health promotion in a safe and social environment. However, the main aim of the centre is to offer service users the opportunity to cultivate connections with people, a pivotal pillar of good mental health and wellbeing.

Mission Statement

Newbridge Day Care Centre aims to provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive and person-centred service to the people of Newbridge and its surrounds.

We endeavour to promote the abilities, preferences, pastimes and passions of service users thus promoting independence, fulfilment, fun and fellowship.

The centre also aims to support individuals in the community of Newbridge who require a ‘meals on wheels’ service. This is cost-effective and in line with their dietary and food preferences.

Meals on Wheels Service

The centre also provides a Meals on Wheels Service to the Newbridge community Monday to Friday. Our cook leads the catering team and provides nutritious main course meals and dessert to individuals daily in conjunction with our volunteer delivery drivers.

Applications for this service can be made by contacting the centre directly.
Meals are delivered daily between 11.45 & 12.45pm across Newbridge.
At present the service costs €4 daily but is subject to change.
