SVP Observations On The Homelessness - Related Aspects Of The Housing Act

SVP have provided a written response to the Department of Housing on the proposed legislative amendments to the Housing Act 1988. We have outlined that homeless prevention needs to be the focus for the Minister for Housing, the Department, and all Local Authorities in any resulting changes to policy and practice.
