SVP Submission on the Development of Ireland's Social Climate Plan

SVP's response to the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment's consultation on the development of Ireland's Social Climate Plan, through which Ireland will receive and apply funds from the EU Social Climate Fund.

In this submission, we make several comments on potential measures and targets under the plan and recommend that the Draft Plan explicitly targets groups at greatest risk of energy poverty. We also highlight how many of these groups — such as renters, one parent families, and Travellers — are excluded from current schemes and provide suggestions for how excluded groups can be supported under Ireland's Social Climate Plan.
