A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of throwing a small retirement party in honour of Bridie Sweeney, a stalwart in the local community in Tallaght. She works tirelessly for the Conference and for the Vincent’s shop, for more than 50 years, that she helped set up.
The shop team in Tallaght put together a lovely spread to share with friends, colleagues and customers who had come throughout the day to wish her well and show gratitude.
Mark O'Brien, SVP's East Region Retail Manager, presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award and paid tribute to her on behalf of SVP.
While she retires from serving the public behind the till in our Tallaght shop she will continue to work with the conference.
We wish her all the very best for the years ahead and sincere thanks for a lifetime’s work she contributed to the Society.
She truly is an inspirational and beautiful human being.
