Area Presidents tireless dedication

As the new National Member Support Manager for The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul I am constantly inspired by the tireless dedication of our volunteer Members, and last week was no different.

On a cold Saturday in Kilkenny I had the privilege of supporting William Bryan, SVP Membership Support Officer, in delivering a new workshop to provide direct assistance to our Area Presidents in the South East Region.

The Area Presidents are a vital link to ensuring our Conference members are supported in the work they do when they visit the homes of some of those most in need in our society. Theirs is not an easy task and it was fantastic to see the passion with which they carry out their work. The Area Presidents headed off from the workshop with renewed commitment and enthusiasm and we wish them well over the next few months when they will be reaching out into the region to support our volunteers.
