Van Assistant - Broombridge (Permanent Full Time)

Location: Broombridge, Dublin

Salary range: €29,581.50 per annum

Experience: 1 Years in similar role / B Licence desirable

SVP employs people to support volunteers in a variety of settings including housing, community care, shops, administration, and other specialist areas. 

The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Van Assistant to join our Order Fulfillment Team in Broombridge. The post holder will have responsibility for assisting our drivers in the efficient collection and redistribution of excess donated goods and stock items between the central warehouse and the Vincent's charity shops in the East Region and other logistical requirements as they arise. This is a great opportunity to join one of Ireland’s largest voluntary organisations and make a difference in your community.

Candidate Requirements:

EDUCATION
• Job Holder should have a good educational background

KNOWLEDGE
• A good Knowledge of Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare roadsis desirable.
• A B Licence is desirable.
• Knowledge of our Vincent Shops is desirable
• Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values is desirable
• Knowledge of needs and issues of the poor and disadvantaged

EXPERIENCE
• Experience in a similar role is desirable.

SKILLS
• To be physically fit
• To be able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
• To have good communication skills.
• To be able to work under pressure
