A Corporate Giving Tree for SVP is the perfect way to get your staff involved and support families and individuals who are struggling financially. Simply sign up by contacting us on companies@svp.ie or call 01 884 8227. We will provide you with paper gift tags to decorate your company tree with. Each gift tag will have a QR code where staff can scan and purchase a gift voucher for a child, family or individual who needs it most.
A Corporate Giving Tree enables staff to donate directly to their local communities, during what can be a challenging time of year for many families. In the past many
companies donated physical items, like toys and bicycles for children. However, in recent years SVP has decided to encourage companies to give the Gift of Choice when donating via their Corporate Giving Tree.
The Gift of Choice allows staff to donate vouchers so that families and can buy their own foods, clothes, toys and gifts for their children based on what their children are asking Santa for. The Gift of Choice allows SVP to give vouchers to groups that traditionally did not get gifts from the Corporate Giving Tree; single parents, teenagers, elderly people or people living with a disability. Ultimately the Gift of Choice affords people dignity and a sense of joy in what can be a difficult and lonely time for many families.
Staff choosing to donate via the Gift of Choice, can choose the amount they wish to give, the age group of the recipients, and the location in Ireland they want the donation to go to. Vouchers that are donated are disbursed within the week they are purchased, meaning the donation has an immediate effect on an individual or families Christmas.
