Rental costs have Alan and Mark wondering how they can keep their jobs

Alan works – and rents privately. He gets paid at the end of each month but his rent of €1,500 per month falls a week earlier. After rent and bills, he has literally nothing left.

He’s just one of many who are in full-time employment but still need to come to us for help. Mark is in an even worse situation – he became homeless when he could no longer afford his rent.

He’s now living in a tent in a friend’s back garden.
