Fundraisers with movement and a sweet tooth

The staff at Bethany House would like to say a huge thank you to all involved in two amazing fundraisers for the services in the few months. A fantastic fundraiser called "LipSync Longford". Up to twenty well known locals face lip synced and danced their way through well known hits on September 30 and October 1.

The event raised funds for Bethany House and another local centre St Christopher's. Bethany House recieved an amazing €8000 from the event.

The names of the organisers were Kevin Hussey, Aaron Hussey, Dave Hussey, Eddie Clabby, Arlene Finnegan, Sive Kavanagh and James Morgan.

We would also like to thank the main sponsors for the event Kavanaghs Bar and G&M Electronics.

This was one of the best fundraisers that was held for our services and a lot of time and effort went into it by the above mentioned, to make so successful for which we are very grateful.

Grant Thornton Office Longford, also ran a Cake Sale with all the proceeds going to Bethany House and we are very grateful to everyone who baked, bought and contributed.

Cheque presentation of  €400 from Grant Thornton's representatives Amy Adams and Ruth Costello to Bethany House Manager, Teresa Gilchriest.
