Ozanam Come Dancing 2018 raises a staggering €50,000!

Resulting in €45,000 towards our summer youth programmes

Thank you all for your support and for helping us to raise an incredible €50,500 resulting in €45,000 towards our summer youth programmes.

Massive congratulations to Maria & Derek dancing ‘The Paso Doble’ – our Ozanam Come Dancing Winners 2018!

Ozanam Come DancingOzanam Come Dancing was held in Liberty Hall on Friday 9th March last. A sell out crowd of 400 people filled the venue and were entertained by our 11 amazing couples who danced the Cha Cha, the Charleston, the Jive, Disco, Bollywood, Tango and Paso Doble.

The amazing Brendan Courtney returned for his fourth year as our host and was joined by our celebrity Judges Katherine Lynch, Brian Keogh, and Mary Black. All shared their wisdom, insight, humour and laughs throughout the evening. The brilliant ‘State Lights’ with lead singer Shobsy and guitarist Joe Regan providing the entertainment on the night.

Our volunteer dancers came on board from within Ozanam House, SVP Staff and staff from some of our supporting companies including McCann FitzGerald, Independent News and Media, Abbey CapitalAdobe, Dance World, AIB and Diageo and a huge thank goes to them all for their hard work, commitment and support. They put on a truly incredible show on the night and amazed everyone with what can be achieved after only 10 weeks of lessons.
