Today FM’s Alison Curtis launches Aldi’s Give A Gift Campaign in aid of Saint Vincent De Paul

Today FM’s Alison Curtis alongside her daughter Joan (6) launched Aldi’s Give a Gift campaign in aid of Saint Vincent De Paul (SVP) that will run from 21st November-12th December across 127 Aldi stores nationwide.

For the third year in a row, shoppers can drop a gift into the Give A Gift box at their local Aldi store which will go directly to a family in need this Christmas. Each gift collected will be distributed to families in the community where the gift was donated, so the gift will stay local. Alternatively, you can purchase a gift at SVP’s Virtual Gift Store or make a donation online at https://www.svp.ie

This year Aldi will also be making a €14,000 donation to the SVP Resource Centre – Ozanam House in Mountjoy Square, Dublin. SVP’s Ozanam House provides key services including a childcare facility, after school and homework clubs, youth clubs, adult education programmes and community programmes for the elderly. This donation will support the Resource Centre and Saint Vincent de Paul’s continued efforts to have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Your support will help spread Christmas cheer and excitement, through the gift of surprise. Even the smallest of gifts that are sometimes taken for granted are most welcome and will make a very big difference in the lives of people who need it most this Christmas.

Gift Guidelines:

  1. All toys/gifts must be new – no second hand toys please.
