The centre was established in 2009 as a direct result of a survey which found that there was a significant need in the area for a place where members of the community, both young and old and from all walks of life, could come to learn new skills and develop their talents in a safe and welcoming environment and thus empower themselves.

The main objective of Castleisland FRC is to focus on meeting the needs of the family from a development approach.

Bright Beginnings Pre-school

The focus of Bright Beginnings is to provide a child centred affordable quality early intervention preschool in a small local group setting providing encouragement for social inclusion and support for families.

The aim of Bright Beginnings is to enhance the overall development of young children

At Bright Beginnings children are encouraged learn to play, share and socialise and have a good start for when they go to 'big school'. Children can fall behind quickly when they go to school if they haven't mixed with other kids, learned basic social skills and if they do not have a basic grasp of the English language. We strive to provide those kinds of opportunities through our Centre.
