The Role:
We are currently looking to recruit a Donor Care Administrator (Permanent Full Time) to join our National Fundraising team in SVP House, Dublin 1. The post holder will have responsibility for supporting donor-centric fundraising by actively engaging with donors and ensuring a positive, consistent experience throughout the donor journey. It provides practical support to SVP Regions, Areas, and Conferences by supplying fundraising resources, information, and assistance with corporate engagement activities.
The role also supports the administration of the Society’s national charity tax reclaim programme and delivers day-to-day donor care, including handling correspondence, completing monthly reconciliations, and maintaining accurate donor records on the CRM system. Working closely with the Donor Care Team, the post holder upholds high standards of donor stewardship, GDPR compliance, and best-practice fundraising while supporting additional tasks as required by the Manager. Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required
Qualifications
• Educated to Leaving Certificate level or equivalent is essential.
• Office administration course would be beneficial.
Experience
• A minimum of 1-year relevant experience in administration and database management is essential.
Knowledge
• Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values.
• Knowledge of needs and issues of the poor and disadvantaged.
Skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, by phone, written and face to face) is essential.
• The ability to juggle a wide range of activities and priorities own workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong software application skills and working experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Databases.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as work on own initiative to achieve objectives.
