The Role:
We are currently looking to recruit a HR Graduate (1 year fixed term contract - 37.5 hours per week) to join our National HR Team in SVP House, Dublin 1.The HR Graduate will play a key role in supporting recruitment and onboarding activities across the Society. Working closely with an experienced HR team, the role will assist with end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising roles, coordinating interviews, candidate communication and supporting a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
In addition, the HR Graduate will provide HR administrative support and contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives, gaining exposure to general HR activities across SVP’s service areas. This role offers a strong foundation for developing a career in HR within Ireland’s largest charity. Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required
Qualifications
• CIPD-aligned qualification or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources.
Experience
• Experience of working in a collaborative environment and of administration would be desirable.
• Experience of working within team and group projects is essential.
Knowledge
• Knowledge of the Society and of its mission and values.
• Knowledge of needs and issues of the poor and disadvantaged.
Skills
• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to working.
• Microsoft application skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook and excellent key board skills.
• Ability to present data to enable decisions.
• Excellent organisation and administration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, by phone, other online communications and email.
• Excellent team player with commitment to professional development.
