Christmas Carol for SVP
We are asking choirs, schools and community groups across Ireland to help raise funds for families and individuals who are struggling this Christmas by taking part in a festive Christmas carol.
Spread Christmas joy in your local area by singing songs of your choice! Gather all your members of all ages and enjoy a day of singing Christmas carols while supporting families in need.
How to set up your fundraiser:
- Step 1: Contact us on fundraising@svp.ie or call 01 884 8200 and let us know you are interested in hosting a Christmas Carol in your area.
- Step 2: Contact your local shopping centre, local Christmas markets, church or town square/plaza asking for an available date and ask for permissions to collect on their property. If you would like to sing and collect on the streets or at a church gate, you will need to contact your local Garda station and request a collection permit. We will be here to support you every step of the way!
- Step 3: Organise your singers and practice. Let everyone know the date, time and location. We will send you a physical pack with everything you need.
- Step 4: Show up on the day, sing your selected songs, fundraise for St Vincent De Paul and have fun!
