Dear Neighbour,

Behind the doors you pass to get to your home there are many people quietly struggling to get by:
- Struggling to put food on the family’s plate as they need all their money for rent
- Struggling to get warm so they go to bed early as they can’t afford to heat the bedsit
- Struggling to find money for a nice Christmas
Struggling through this week - and terrified of what the following one might bring – no money for presents? Hunger? Homelessness. You might not see them – but we do!

For too many people, it can still just take one small problem to tip someone into crisis and poverty. It can be an unexpected illness or unexpected bills. But we know that a little help at the right time can stop a domino effect leading to a family experiencing prolonged hardship.SVP helps people to take controlof their lives by assisting them to become self-sufficient. Many of you regularly support our work. Without this help, we simply would not be able to support those struggling. This Christmas please support the Ranelagh Saint Vincent de Paul Annual Appeal.
