My Personal Message

Caroline

My name is Caroline Duffy and I work for AIB. They have been supporting this event with some of my colleagues involved for many years so I am thrilled to be able to be involved myself this year. It is such a great centre and seeing first hand the work they do I am so eager to raise as much funds as possible for the cause…so get voting and donating!

I am really looking forward to getting to learn the dance, nervous but hey this is a big step outside all of our comfort zones so I know that I am not alone and just hope that I don’t fall or David doesn’t hurt himself along the way.

David

When I heard about the Ozanam Come Dancing I initially wanted to be involved to raise funds for the charity and also because I genuinely enjoy dancing and always have. However, when I came to Ozanam House I was 110% committed to raising as much funding as possible for the centre and the people in the community. Unfortunately, Dublin 1 is an area that has been left behind over the years as the rest of the city has grown and developed. The funds raised by the charity allow for adults and children in the local community of north inner city Dublin of all ages, to participate in activities that are simply not available to them elsewhere. I hope to do them proud.

Ozanam Come Dancing 2020

Date: 06 March 2020

Ozanam Come Dancing is the BIG annual fundraiser in aid of Ozanam House Resource Centre, a community centre operated by SVP in Dublin 1. This year, 11 couples have volunteered to take on the challenge. The show will take place on Friday 6th March at 7.30pm in Liberty Hall, Dublin 1 and will be hosted by television presenter and fashion designer, Brendan Courtney. Brendan will be assisted by our guest celebrity judges including Eilish O’Carroll and Katherine Lynch. This year, with your help, we will engage 280 children and young people from the north inner city on our summer projects in June, July and August. At this challenging time of the year for so many families in our community and with your support, we will give them a memorable experience in a safe, nurturing, yet fun-filled environment. Please support our volunteer dancers involved our BIG annual fundraiser, Ozanam Come Dancing.
