The Giving Tree

We are asking corporates, schools, colleges, and community groups to take part in The Giving Tree by donating gifts to your local St Vincent De Paul office.

We request non-perishable food items, new toys, and new clothing for children. Additionally, warm and practical hats, scarves, gloves, socks, and underwear for adults are greatly appreciated.

While wrapping gifts is a lovely gesture, we ask for toys and gifts to remain unwrapped. This ensures we can inspect each item for safety, providing age-appropriate, hazard-free toys for children.

How to take part in The Giving Tree:

  • Contact your nearest St Vincent De Paul office to let them know you will be organising a collection on their behalf. To find contact details for each office, please see here: Find your Local Service | Society of St. Vincent de Paul Ireland.
  • Staff, students or members purchase non-perishable food items, new toys, and new clothing.
  • Box up all items and deliver them to your nearest St Vincent De Paul office. Please make sure you arrange your delivery with the office beforehand.

Thank you for your support!

Donate vouchers through the Gift of Choice campaign:

While giving a physical gift is a cherished tradition, this year we're inviting you to consider something a little different by donating vouchers - The Gift of Choice - St Vincent de Paul Ireland - Donate Gifts

With the Gift of Choice, you're giving more than just presents this Christmas — you're making a child's wish list come true, and offering dignity, joy, and a sense of hope during what can be an extremely difficult and lonely time for many.

If your company, school or community group would like to sign up for the Gift of Choice, please contact fundraising@svp.ie or call 01 884 8200. We will support you every step of the way and post you your festive paper gift tags to hang on your Christmas tree.
